My Heart is full of Obama Hope

Today is a great day in the history of the world. The dark ages of Bush are gone and 'hope' is making its way towards our hearts, filling it with the joy of having Obama leading us -Iraqis and Americans- to the path of change.

Here is what I wrote for the Institute for War and Peace Reporting.

While I may disagree with a couple of your points, Bassam, it was over all a good piece that you wrote.

Meterologists are reporting a massive cloud of hope blanketing the eastern United States. Birds are falling from the sky in an orgy of optimism

Bassam, it was wonderful to read a piece that reflected so perfectly my thoughts and opinions.

My niece and her family have finally arrived in America as Iraqi refugees. Having followed so closely their struggles, I had a clearer picture of the realities in Iraq than most Americans.

I must say I smiled all day today, because I too have hope that this country will now take an about face in a totally new direction.

I read your article Bassam. I think it is very well written. I hope that Obama will responsibly remove U.S. troops from Iraq and help to create an atmosphere of reconciliation there.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I'll try to do better. :)

(I do concur with Lynette too - I think the paragraph structure was a bit poor, but the content? top grades Sir Sebti)
