one of the unusual aspects of this campaign was mcCain's campaign manager coming out and just admitting this election was not going to be about issues! very strange indeed.

here is what he said "This election is not about issues," said Davis. "This election is about a composite view of what people take away from these candidates."

we've never heard this before even thi it was fairly clear that is the way they ran bush (even tho cheney was really the candidate he doesn't seem so 'appealing' to say the least), on the 'who do you want to drink a beer with' thing. meanwhile everyhting they told us about his 'ideas' (if you could call them that) turned out not to be true (no nation building etc). anyway, so much spin. i think that is why palin is on the ticket, she looks good on tv, plays well to our christianista fanatical fundies.; 9/16/2008 2:28 PM
